Josh Couts Quartet serves up exciting and original jazz!

Fellow jazzman Keith Taylor says--

"I recently had the good fortune to hear a wonderful performance by the Josh Couts Quartet at a venue known as the Tangled String. This was the perfect setting for the attentive audience to hear every note from this group of very talented jazz musicians. The concert was a celebration of the release of the group’s album Time Marching On.

The players are all well known to me, as I have had the privilege of working with each of them on many occasions. The high level of musicianship and creativity demonstrated throughout the evening was not at all surprising. If you get the chance to hear the cd, you may be surprised at the amazing compositions. Josh and Nick have come up with tunes that are inspiring to me and to most everybody who enjoys listening to contemporary jazz.

The concert also included some original material that has yet to be recorded. Hopefully, that means another cd is in the works. I wish Josh great success with Time Marching On, and as time marches on, I wish Josh great success with a promising career in the jazz world."
